The Greyhound has ten hand pumps spread across the front bar and smaller curved rear bar. This seems to be a Derby Brewing pub so the pumps in operation were drawing their Business as Usual, Single Hop Sessions, Hop Till You Drop and Mercia, which is the same total of four as the Derby Brewing Tap House I visited earlier in the day. The keg range also looked quite similar with premium and craft being available alongside Carlsberg. I did hear the barperson mention that the cask choice was a bit limited due to it being a Tuesday evening. The décor is very bland, but I enjoyed the rock music playing in the background. In an area with many great pubs I don’t think this place quite matches up.

An attractive looking pub that has been somewhat made over inside and although not particularly traditional it is a comfortable place for a pint. It is The Derby Brewery Tap as mentioned before but only three cask beers on during a Thursday afternoon visit, Derby Buckeye Brown, Mercia IPA and Business As Usual which was a well kept beer but not very exciting. An ok pub but only B list in the scheme of things.

Accessed of an alley in the middle of the building or through the adjoining front door, this is a modern trendy bar which opens out slightly at the rear. A bit basic and doesn't feel comfortable it does serve the Derby beer which was kept ok
