Will Larter left this review about White Hart

This pub was repurposed as a wedding dress shop for a number of years, and when that closed down someone had the bright idea of reopening it as a pub. The interior is modern, with lots of fairly rough timber covering whatever damage had been done to the walls, and the bar counter, presumably built from scratch, has tiles on the front and sides. It was pretty busy around 3pm on the first Saturday of the year when I got here, with a number of families treating their kids to pizza. There are two hand pumps, situated centrally but split apart and huddling up to the keg taps on either side (eight of them on the right, and I guess a similar number on the left - I didn't check). Each had a glass tipped up over them, signifying no beer available (though the pump clips showed they had been pouring Bradfield Farmers Blonde and Belgian Blue). The lass who served me confirmed that they had sold out over the New Year. I had Salt Alpacalypse, a 4.3% keg pale, which was pretty awful despite being reassuringly expensive (£5.30/pint).

The White Hart is on the main road going north out of Oughtibridge.
This pub still has the Stones signs outside though some of the letters are missing, once inside this pub it was very run down,i was the only person in here at about 1.00 in the afternoon.
There was no real ale on the bar only John Smiths smooth which i dont drink so it was a Guinness here.
It would be nice if some money was spent on this pub and bring a few more customers in.
