Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Brookers Oast
A converted and extended oasthouse at the former Whitbread Hop Farm (now a tourist attraction and home to a major music festival). As a Brewers Fayre outlet, it is thoroughly food-orientated and aimed at the family market. Various seating and dining areas, with the anonymous corporate furniture and decor that you would expect. However, one feature of note is the unusual shape of the toilets housed the roundels. There are also large patio and grass beer gardens to the rear. Just one of the two handpumps were on when I visited, offering a reasonable pint of Spitfire (reasonably priced at £3.29). Overall, a bit better than I was expecting.
