Old Boots left this review about The Queen
A two bar local, the left hand bar is called “Vaults” and is a small public, to the right is a larger lounge being what is called “bi-furcated”, in other words split down the middle by a spine wall, the servery serves both main bars. Two handpulls grace both bars but only two beers were on “Tetleys Bitter” and a reasonable Ossett White Rat. A comfortable old pub, carpets and banquette seating prevail, cream walls with little decor, there are screens but no music or machines that I could see, conversation among the locals seems to predominate. Nice pub with a few old Melbourne Brewery bits surviving what looks like an ill advised sixties makeover. It has an old school games table with old favourites like Space Invaders.
