I have been using this club since 1988 when it was 77p a pint and a grand wee social club until things changed, it really isnt the club i once knew, still the same inside, come in door with public bar on the left that can hold maybe 40 people, small bar, 2 bandits but no telephone in club now, at the back a huge lounge that is often busy every wed, fri, sat and sunday night for boring bingo, its often abused my members, the prices are ok but should be cheaper, better clubs in town then here, 2 of the 3 stewards are nice but you have the youngest who is often very rude and never happy, there are a few dodgy characters in there, mostly JM. The place is clean and tidy to a high standard, the committee don't want to spend money on sky which lets the place down, my biggest problem with this place is people who gossip so only gets a 3 out of 10. Sadly close early at 8pm through the week due to down turn.
