Roadside pub, a pretty 1930s building with some Art Deco touches. Looks like it's been recently tarted up at great expense - inside is a pretty large place, opened-out with two obvious areas (a restaurant to the rear), along with a garden. Decor is fairly tasteful blues and creams. 3x GK ales and something called Wolfpack Alpha Stout (also GK, it turned out) which had a tart edge and ended-up as plant fertiliser (NBSS 1.5), served-up by a teenage bob-a-job. Shame, as the place itself is relatively pleasant otherwise.
