David Ross left this review about The Caple Bar (Ardencaple Hotel)
The public bar of the hotel is called The Caple Bar. Like the hotel itself, it looks rather run down inside, but the beer garden at the front offers spectacular views of the junction of the Firth of Clyde and the Gareloch and across the water to Greenock. In fact, it's the best view of Greenock I've ever seen.
