High tea at this hotel is not recommended, was there on sunday 12th September,toast was brought out with the main meal!!! ham salad was ham and a pile of lettuce with coleslaw and chips, not choice whether chips wanted or not!!! Fish ordered without tartare sauce but came with large portion, 1 scone between 2 people appeared already covered with jam and cream.....hmmm i dont like cream!!! along with 2 tiny cakes that had been cut into 2 so looked more!!!! tea was brought out later not with scone and cake and then told if coffee required instead this would be charged extra!!!!! At no point were we asked how our meal was even when paying.....and payment was taken by the owner!!!! AVOID THIS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!! Only good comment was location and that the food in general was nice...what we got of it!!!!
