I seem to recall trying to visit this pub before somewhere in the dim and distant past. I recall that opening times used to be a bit more limited, but these days the Tavern (the only pub in the village of Ardler) is open all day daily.
I was here at lunchtime and found that all other customers were tucking into lunches. I was the only person just there for a drink and the staff seemed a little surprised that a drinker had turned up during the day. Perhaps the nature of the pub changes later in the afternoon/evening.
Whilst there is a handpull, no real ale is stocked anymore. The keg selection was Guinness, Tennent's Lager, Lost Orchards Cider (varieties also available in bottles), Inveralmond Ossian & Harviestoun Schiehallion.

Lovely wee village pub open evenings 6pm-11pm through week and all day opening hours every weekend, serves snacks & lite bites, lunchtime weekends, good food, very reasonable prices. Nice sunny patio to sit outside. Also a roaring log fire for these not so sunny days.
