A friendly local pub near the harbour front, black and white tile fronted, from the Victorian era. Bare boards, sparsely furnished with wooden chairs and tables, and wooden bar and recently re-decorated. The lack of curtains and carpets makes it echo like a church hall, but the banter is friendly enough and the company convivial and it's dog-friendly. The bar is large and L-shaped, and there is just too much wood on display. There is a basic pub grub menu and a wine list with all the old favourites. Three ales on - I had Doombar which was a decent enough pint. Worth droppin gin for a snack and I would include in a crawl.
