Requested be closed with reason - Other: Currently closed due to ill health of the owners according to the man in the street I spoke to asking why it was closed.

The Vale is on the high street and looks down calcutt street there is a funny looking clock outside the pub.
I did'nt like the look of this pub that much so i was surprised to see four handpumps on the bar i tried Moles Best which i enjoyed drinking there was also Wadworth Henrys IPA,Wadworth 6X and a beer called Gloucestershire Glory ime not sure who brew this beer.
Not a bad pub with a good choice of beers
