Soup Dragon left this review about The Drift Inn
A rather plain, low-level, detached pub in white with some black paintwork, with a beer garden. It is one of the two actual pubs on the island, rather than a hotel.
The interior is one open plan room, with the serving bar to the left on entry. It has yellow walls with some wood panel, yellow ceiling along with a blue carpet. There was a stone fireplace at one end and no real pictures on the walls for interest. The music was general and at a decent level and the TV had the snooker on. The service was fine and there were a few others in; a couple eating - so they did food, but i didn't try it.
Beer; no real ale, just a bottle or two in the fridge. All tap stuff, but half of this wasn't on - though the lady behind the bar was really nice as she kept saying no! I ended up with Guinness as the Belhaven Best and some Tennant drink wasn't on.
You can Drift Inn, but i wish i had drift past it. I may have caught on a bad day, but there are better choices around, sorry!
