This is my review from July 2016.

Last pub of the night as we were staying here. Arrived at around 10pm and they had live music on in the back dining area that was being enjoyed by around 30 odd ladies from the local WI or equivalent.

The bar had several pi**ed up blokes that play for the pub golf team, sometimes annoying but mostly amusing.

This is a very attractively refurbished Batemans pub, with 3 of their ales on the hand pumps, the several pints of Gold I had were very good.

As I said above we stayed here the night, good rooms and a nice breakfast.

I'd recommend this pub, but if you're not a fan of Batemans you need to drink the bottles on offer as they had no guest ales on this visit.

This pub seemed very down at heel when i went in i was the only customer in mid saturday afternoon.
There is a large room at the front of the pub and there is probably another room at the back i did'nt look,there were no real ales here just Mansfield Bitter and this pub was in the camra GBG in the late 90s i wont be going in this pub again.
