Steve of N21 left this review about The Papermill
The papermill is basically the Brewers Fayre family restaurant associated with the Premier Inn on this same new build development.
It's basically one complex where you can walk straight from the Premier Inn reception to the Brewers Fayre pub.
And if you've been in one of these Brewer Fayres then you've been in them all as far as the decor is concerned.
But, as usual its comfortable enough, being quite a large internal space, subdivided into several separate dining areas and the bar does support three ale handpumps along with the usual chrome pump draft lager offerings.
There were two Hoggobblin Ales (although one was off on my visit) and Brakspears Bitter on the other.
But most people do come here to eat and the food menu was the usual extensive, well priced with plenty of offers (two meals for £10 sort of thing) Brewers fayre stuff, so the Papermill is usually frequented by families and the silver set.
And it probably explains why Lenny Henry is now the size he is if has one of the mixed grills every time he does an advert for one of these places.
