Very pleasant hotel bar open to the public, it consists of a series of interconnected sitting rooms with contemporary leather sofas and armchairs as well as banquette seating and chairs at Britannia tables. Panelled walls and stone floors, it’s an old hotel but modernised inside. The counter is in the end most room and serves UK and Scottish keg brands from seven solos, there’s Peroni, Guinness, Aspall, Carling, Greene King East Coast IPA – referring to Great Yarmouth no doubt, Belhaven Best and Madri. It has free wi-fi but it blocks alcohol related sites so no Pubs Galore or WhatPub.
