A big lump of a pub and very much a contempory gastro place,not a kind of pub that would be a regular watering hole for me but bouyed by the the beers reported in Quinnos review below I called in to have a look,the first pumpclip spotted was GK IPA but the next two were much much better,A Windsor and Eton collaberation, Brew 882 (Seattle Porter) and Trumans Gunboat Smith a rather good black IPA.As I said not really my kind of place but it could be a lot worse, a Harvester or something along those lines,as it is an extra point for the very good (2 out of three anyway) beer.

Massive great place which is rather modern and upmarket, aimed at the dining classes. Lots of talk elsewhere of this being a GK house - no obvious evidence of it here. Many levels inside and was easy to get lost in when you’ve had a few (yes…). Of note is the wine cage to the right of the bar, very impressive if you like that sort of thing. Dog friendly. Better than expected choice at the bar, three good ales, two of them local; Siren Craft Love of Work (good nick), W&E Guardsman and Truman's Runner. Also big on cocktails. Really quite impressive even if it isn’t really a ‘proper’ pub.
