Beefeater attached to a Premier Inn with all the attendant stuff that brings. Fairly charmless bar area (fireplace excepted) with sticky floor and nasty green walls. Two ales, Pride and a cricket-themed Marstons ale. Kerfuffle behind the bar as there were no half glasses. When some did appear I wish I hadn’t bothered as the Pride was dire. Desmond dumped his lemonade, branding it ‘the worst I’ve had for ages’. The only redeeming feature of this place is the front garden with a weeping willow. We were weeping too, at having effectively thrown £3.50 down the drain.
