The Swan is a basic corner pub that is set in the back streets.
Once inside the pub has two separate rooms, the room to the front is oblong shaped and bare boarded, there is wood bench seating and chairs for seating, there is a darts board to the rear left.
The other room is down one step and has a pool table to the front.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Courage Best, which was a decent enough keg bitter, the other keg bitter was John Smiths Smooth Crap.
I was dissapointed not to see the Queen or Bob Hope in here as they have been in here in the past.
This is a basic pub that most drinkers would not bother visiting.

The Swan is a great pub filled with lots of character.
I believe since Miss Neil stepped in to help try and get The Swan back on its feet back in December 2012, its slowly but surely is getting back to how it once was.
There are Discos most weekends great music for all ages, great atmosphere, The locals are a great bunch of people of all ages it is a home from home kind of pub, new faces are always made welcome.
The staff are friendly and fast to assist
It is wheelchair friendly
Kids are allowed up til a certain time
