This is actually part of the Castlebay Hotel, but occupies a separate building adjacent to it. It is very much the village local and has a completely different atmosphere to the rather sedate lounge bar in the main hotel building. Very lively and busy, especially at weekends, with a wide mix of age groups. Features regular musical performances, including some by the well known "Vatersay Boys," from the neighbouring island of Vatersay. The best pub on Barra, although there are only four to choose from.
