Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Toby Carvery Sutton Park
Substantial mock-Tudor building - presumably a converted faux Manor house - located right inside Sutton Park (although it was pitch black when I walked out to find it). Numerous seating / dining areas on slightly different levels, with some baronial-style features in the bar area and elsewhere. Mainly an eating establishment of course, but it was disappointing to find all three handpumps disused. With an indifferent keg selection, I opted for a bottled Sharp's Atlantic (£4.45) from one of the fridges.

Soup Dragon left this review about Sutton Park
A massive Toby Carvery within Sutton Park, near the Town Gate. It is in cream and timber, with painted moulded stone and is in a mock-Tudor style, even with a turret. There is a front patio and a rear beer garden.
The interior has an irregular shaped bar/lounge at the front. It is in the usual mixed colour style for the walls and ceiling; red, green, blue, chocolate, cream, white and wood panel. At the back, including a conservatory, is the dining area, with the carvery serving area on the right as you walk down. It is in the same decor style. There is also a small square room, i guess as a private function/dining area, which also has a few vases in. The usual eclectic pictures and old photographs are on the walls and there are several fireplaces dotted about. There was no TV and the music was general and at a decent level. The service was OK and the clientele mixed. The usual Toby menu was on offer. I didn't eat here but would pop back and try it.
Beer; usual tap stuff, with Brew XI and Pedigree on handpull. It was really hot, so i actually and rarely had a Bulmers cider, which was fine.
A general Toby carvery in a nice setting. It has a nice enough drinking area separate to the dining area. sadly, a bland choice of real ales.
