Went in here 4 july 2010 the Chequers has'nt altered in years when you go in the bar is on the left with a narrow drinking area there is a lounge type area at the back of the pub which you have to go up a couple of steps,there are three handpumps with Bass on permantley and two guest beers on,the pub is full of stuffed animals and other brick a brack this is very much a locals pub but you are made to feel welcome by both the locals and landlord this is a really good pub and i would advise anyone to visit this pub.
