Formerly The Queen Charlotte, Madelines is a large, tired 1960s estate pub on the main road out of Gosport. The staff are welcoming, and the locals mostly friednly towards me although there were one or two who were belligerent to each other. There was a dartboard, a pool table and tv screens showing sports. Lots of loud swearing masked out most of the background noise, though. No real ale, and no decent alternative available. Unless you live here, there's not much reason to come in.
