Strongers . left this review about Buffalo Bill's

Buffalo Bills, previously the Halland Forge, is a large L-shaped pub, restaurant and hotel in an area that many pass but few stop. The entrance leads to the hotel reception with a desk to the right and the main bar area straight ahead where standard seating runs up the left-hand windows to some armchairs that are faces by an exposed brick inglenook that houses a hooded burner. Across the rear is an open plan restaurant where the Tex-Mex food menu is available. The décor throughout is wild west, but it’s not as in-your-face as I thought it would be. The central L-shaped serving counter supports Coors, Bud, Corona, Guinness and Southwest Orchard’s Cider. Up the left side of the pub are a few picnic tables on a grass covered area that is seperated from the A22 by a hedgerow that does little to block the sound of passing vehicles. The service was polite, but this isn’t somewhere anyone would go just for a beer unless they were staying as a hotel guest.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Buffalo Bill's

Formerly the Halland Forge, now a themed Tex-Mex restaurant and bar with motel accommodation. Features a L-shaped interior with the main entrance leading to the lounge and a small side room, and the larger dining room in the other branch. Also retains a small beer garden to one side. No cask ale these days, and only a very limited keg selection, so I had a quick Coors (£2.25, half) before moving on.
