Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Office

Wouldn't normally leave a 'review' for a pub not visited, but signs in the front window and on the entrance doors stated "Members only" when I walked past yesterday. However, these looked temporary rather than suggesting a permanent change to a club so perhaps it just indicated a private hire that evening?

Previously a hairdresser's, this single room bar sits in a parade of shops serving a small residential estate. On approach, the shop front was so dark we missed it first time, but on a second look found the door. It looked closed, but in fact it was open and quite busy, just well disguised as a mortuary. Once inside, we got the Western saloon effect – everyone went quiet and stared at us. There was no real ale, and it wasn't very welcoming. Best left to the bureaudytes.
