Must have caught this place on a very bad day.Both the Whitstable East India Pale Ale and the Dorking Brewery DB were in terrible form and on the verge of being undrinkable.The bar itself is really not a place for the beer drinker but more a place for the people that use the sports facities.It can be a difficult place to get to but buses 36 & 37 stop outside the door if you can work out the timetable.The good point is the staff were very friendly.

The bar of the Surrey University sports faculty which has moved to a new sports centre south west of town. Ultra modern bar on first floor, looking out over sports fields, which does have 3 or 4 reasonable ales on. Fair enough if you are using the place, but didn't really appeal as worth going to otherwise. Parking is a problem at busy times, although there is a bus service, and it is a long way from anywhere else.
