Tidy and well-looked-after pub in small hamlet, which has long since lost its railway. Noted for its food, which has rather taken over, with virtually all tables laid up for eating, despite separate restaurant area at rear. Sadly and for no comprehensible reason has no real ale (keg Boddies and Bass Smooth), otherwise would score higher. One for eating at, rather than drinking.
