There are four hand pumps on the bar but the three pump clips attached were all turned around. The couple now running this place for Greene King only started five weeks before my visit, and they've been struggling to get the Tetleys Bitter that the locals like, though they had some Greene King IPA which was settling in the cellar. Apart from lager and Guinness there was only John Smiths Smooth Crap, so I just had a whisky. I might come back next time I'm in the area and see how they're getting on.

The Cross Keys is a short walk from the main shopping area of Cottingham
This pub looked fairly smart inside and it had been opened out into one room that had different drinking areas there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Tetley bitter and this was ok the other beer was Deuchars IPA.
The pub was quite busy with people watching football on tv.
