I’d not eaten at one of these Loungers for a while so I decided to pop into Trago Lounge for a bacon cheeseburger and a pint of Cruzcampo which set me back £21. The usual décor for this chain is in situ from the faux old school gym floor and mass produced ‘upcycled’ furniture to the floral wallpaper and large hanging lights, but it is toned down a bit when compared to other examples of this chain. Open plan seating is found in the front half of the building and up the right opposite the solid wooden bar. Premium keg was available from the friendly bar staff alongside Brixton lager. There was a young singer when I walked in early on a recent Thursday, but thankfully she soon finished to make way for some background music. I like the burger so this chain is my go to for dinner when I’m on expenses, and long will they continue to be.

A large café bar with a slightly dark interior and regimented rows of tables. No real ales but has a couple of interesting kegs, including Bath Dark Side. Certainly felt more like a café during the day; perhaps it has a different atmosphere in the evening. Terrace at rear.
