The Railway Inn used to be a Shipstones tied house,with a very nice drink of Shipstones Bitter and Mild on the bar
This was a two roomed pub next to the level crossing the bar at the front was fairy small and basic,this is the room we drank in when on a crawl round Long Eaton,the lounge to the rear was larger and quite smart with comfy bench seating.
This pub was closed down suddenly after a police raid.
It is now a cafe.
