Alan Winfield left this review about The Kingsway
When i first went in the Kingsway it was an Home Ales tied house with a very nice drink of Home bitter on the bar.
Once inside the pub has now been opened out into a single L shaped room, the bar faces on entry, the front right area is set aside for diners, the left side runs to the rear, there are normal tables and chairs here, plus tow leather settees, the room is carpeted throughout.
There were two real ales on the bar on my recent visit,i had a drink of Caledonian Golden XP which went down well, the other beer was Caledonian Flying Scotsman.
The TVs were showing BBC news, background music was playing.
This is quite a smart pub that could well be classed as an estate pub.
