Be At One, Putney, SW15

OK this isn’t one that is going to appeal to all! Have to admit I have ticked off most in this chain usually because there has been one near somewhere I have been and there is that “shall I go home” or “shall I go next door for that final beer”. This one is on the river end of Putney High St. Nice bifold windows that opened the place up at the end of a thunderstorm that created some fresh air - OK London version of fresh air. This one is bigger than most with bar on left side as you enter with a ledge and stools down right hand side. Some tables and a mustard colour leather banquette in front of the open window. Hard wood floor stretching into the distance and tables etc beyond the bar. A Pet Shop Boys Greatest Hits soundtrack filled the venue but even though it was loud it worked at this time (not invasive as per Saint James on Kemptown yesterday afternoon).

Clearly you won’t be getting much of a beer choice here. A couple of lagers at best - this time Sol and Asahi. Beer isn’t what the demographic is here. Classy drinks list goes into the detail of a multitude of cocktails and wine/champagne with a lot of seasonal cocktails.

I might be close to the end of a full house on a Be At One bingo card. No one should be surprised to know that I have only ever been to each branch the once only. Would be a toss up on whether I revisited any of them or popped to the Starbucks next door for a chilled latte (for the ones that have a Starbucks or similar next door)!!
