This is a sports bar which opened bang on 4 as advertised. Friendly service and a decent pint of Morland Old Hoppy Hen. All in all not a bad place and I was happy to have popped in for one.

A bit unusual for Bewdley, this is a no-holds-barred glitzy modern sports bar. TVs everywhere in the long, narrow interior but at least the aspect ratios were correctly set for the football. Pool table to rear. Just GK IPA Gold at the bar which, after much faffing by the gormless barmaid, was pronounced dead by the off-duty barman who had the gumption to go down into the cellar to actually check whilst Miss Piggy stared vacantly into space, like someone had taken her batteries out. Decided against trying anything else so Desmond got to finish his lemonade and bemoan the general state of Man Utd’s backline in peace.
