In the 2026 Good Beer Guide, so an extended trip on the 52 bus from Kidderminster before a day out in Bromsgrove.
Fine cinema conversion - huge central bar and many, many Wetherspoons tables and hard chairs. Most busy on a Friday morning.
Service from the App was quick and effecient. Usual value breakfast. Xmas ales were on and I enjoyed my first of the (early) season. An Otter Claus in perfect condition.
Downstairs loos gilding the lily.

Another Wetherspoons' cinema conversion that is certainly spacious inside. There is also plenty of seating on an outdoor patio at the rear.
The real ale selection seems to be gradually picking up in branches of Wetherspoon's. This one had 2 guests to supplement the Ruddles Best. These were Adnams Ghost Ship & Portobello Star. There was no real cider.
As usual, the app failed to work for me. Luckily, it worked for Mrs S. After 10-15 minutes of waiting for our drinks, a member of staff came to take our order! Luckily, the drinks arrived shortly after. Despite there being plenty of staff and there not appearing to be too many customers, service did seem a bit slow and disorganised.
Certainly an impressive building, but the service and drinks choice lets it down in present times.

Impressive cinema conversion just up from the train station. Friendly service with guests from Sadlers and Lymestone which were fine. I like the old motorbike up on the wall - hence the name Royal Enfield. Worth a visit.
