This pub is a true gem especially if you're a fan of Brampton Brewery beers. They had four of their own beers on our recent visit plus six guest all on handpump. The interior in this pub has been tastefully finished and the William Morris wallpaper really makes the place. The staff are very welcoming and upbeat when you go to the bar, lots of comfortable seating options to choose from. You could spend some time in here relaxing over some quality beers.

Excellent Brampton Brewery pub housed in a polygonal building set in one quadrant of a crossroads on the old road towards Chatsworth. Attractive traditional-looking interior, and although it's probably been opened out at some stage, there are several distinct seating / dining areas and a separate snug. Also has a good number of wooden benches out front. The Brampton Best, Golden Bud, Brampton Mild and Golden Pig were on four of the ten handpumps, along with Meanwood's New Normal old ale and four other guests plus the obligatory Everards's Tiger as this is a Project William enterprise. Certainly the highlight of the 'beer mile'.

This is a really good pub with 10 hand pumps, four of them from Brampton Brewery, of which one is the "beer of the week" and sold at just £2.90/pint. My half of their Menin Gate, a Belgian dubbel 7.4% was a more normal £5/pint and absolutely gorgeous.
