Like everywhere in the Albert Dock its pretentious and expensive and crap.

Very smart bar with an upstairs restaurant. We’ve eaten in the restaurant twice recently. The first time it was excellent, the second time it was poor. The bar has a live DJ who has always been playing things at a sensible volume when we’ve been in (up until around 10), but I expect it ramps up later at night when the bouncers are on the door (it’s open until 2). It’s nicely decorated in the fairly minimalist style that seems to be popular round Albert Dock. It has subdued lighting and a mix of comfortable seating. Only fizz on the bar of course and I had to drink Amstel, but they are efficient at serving you. Beyonce hired the whole place when The Brits were on at the Echo Arena across the dock, it’s that sort of place.
