Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Robin Hood
Must once have been a traditional roadside hostelry, but now a Vintage Inn with the expected semi-traditional makeover in the various seating / dining areas. However, it also has a west-facing patio terrace at the front to catch the evening sun (if you can ignore the traffic noise). Disappointingly, just Doom Bar (£4.10) available from the five handpumps, but at least that was in good shape.

A roadside pub and restaurant currently run by Vintage Inns. It’s a large Victorian building between the road and the tree-line, with a garden at the side and a terraced patio at the front offering fine views of the dual carriageway. There is a large car park at the side and a few parking spaces at the front. Inside there is a single long bar at the front almost entirely laid to table with very few places to sit if you just want a drink. There is a restaurant at the back. The staff were pleasant enough, but the customers were pretty intolerable – it was loud and unwelcoming, the worst offenders being a coven of screaming, drunk middle-aged harpies and an aggressive 30-something yob who took exception to our presence. The décor is a bit tired. Ales on were Thornbridge Jaipur and Doombar, plus 2 empty pumps. The beer was in average condition. Not an enjoyable visit, certainly not Vintage’s best effort, so I doubt I’ll return.
