Strongers . left this review about The Goose
The Goose has high tables across the front and in the bar area where a serving counter runs up the left-hand wall. Standard and premium keg were available and two of the three hand pumps were unused leaving Hobgoblin as the lone cask option. A raised seating area runs up the right-hand wall where a dartboard also resides. Free pool was advertised for every Wednesday, but I didn’t spot a table so maybe there’s an upstairs area? The televisions throughout were airing muted European football while some music played in the background. My visit was not long before the weekly Thursday quiz was due to kick off. I hope more people arrived after I left because the few that were present didn’t look as though they were planning to be participating in anything that would require brain power.

As stated below the Goose is a bit Spoons like. It is open very early and caters to the early drinkers of Wolverhampton. A decent choice of beers when I visited including 2 from Green Duck (Duck Blonde and Sitting Duck) and Cumberland ale. The 2 Green Duck beers were in good shape. I enjoyed my visit and would happily call again.

Another Stonegate circuit pub, slightly dowdy and a bit downmarket. The rather cavernous interior is divided up by columns and dark wooden balustrades, with a generally brown and cream décor. Pool and darts available towards the back. The only ales on were Pedigree and Cumberland, but there were a couple of other clips reversed.
