A large suburban roadhouse with an equally large car park. The main room, extending round three sides, has a dingy dark purple colour scheme which gives a rather gloomy effect, at odds with the half-hearted attempt at family dining from being a 'Sizzling Pub'. Tucked away in one corner is a separate public bar with a pool table. A scattering of tables round the outside is described as a 'terrace', while an unkempt green patch to the rear is unused. Despite previous Cask Marque accreditation still visible, real ale has been discontinued, leaving the usual fizzy beers and lagers. It would be a shame to lose the splendid pub building, but it is well below its potential at present.

The Four in Hand is a large roadside pub on the corner of holderness road and bellfield avenue it is quite smart inside on my visit most people were eating probably because the food was reasonbly priced,the one real ale was Tetley Bitter not a bad pub to take your family to.
