A well kept pub and modern in comparison to the Low Lights across the road. This pub had a nautical theme and there was port hole style wall lighting around the front lounge. The lounge was comfortable with buttoned back bench seating. The bar area on the left hand side had a splendid looking oak polished bar. Two handpumps on the corner of the bar offering Theakston Grouse Beater and Ossett Yorkshire Blonde. Both beers were well kept and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
