Now called Levana, a large bar mainly given over to upright night time drinking crowds. Some dark padded boothes and arm chairs, but all set up for crowds before night clubbing

A modern bar in a modern development - the Arcadian Centre. The Arcadian Centre is a place consisting of late night bars, some of which open on a weekend only - somewhat at odds with the bucolic imagery the name suggests.

Anyhow, I visited Poppy Red as it was actually open at 8pm on a Thursday night. It has a front patio area and a modern glass frontage. The interior is an open room with a DJ area in the corner. Brown banquette seating, straight backed chairs and booth areas supply the seating. White and a strange silver paper is the decor, with several TVs that were showing the darts - made more interesting by the multicoloured lasers that danced across Phil Taylor's face. The service was very friendly and a couple of younger people were in after work. Beer; no real ale of course, just keggy stuff - much of which wasn't on. I left after half of something lagery. One for the youngies.
