This small disjointed bar advertises itself as a bar and kitchen, but I thought it was predominantly a late night venue. I popped in on Saturday afternoon to watch some of the Six Nations rugby on the projector screen which was being aired with the volume at brain splitting levels. There is also a plasma screen at the rear which was showing premiership football to a few guys who looked like they were locals. The lighting is very dim and the décor is basic and there is a dance floor and DJ booth at the front of the bar. San Miguel was available alongside a standard draught selection and I thought that my Guinness was well served.
This place maybe good for the live bands and dance nights, but I think I’ll stick to pubs.
