On approaching this roadside Harvester, also once known as Sullivan's, it looks so run down and unkempt that we thought it was closed. However, the presence of a bunch of scruffy, dirty yoofs smoking at the rear (they turned out to be the kitchen staff) indicated otherwise. There is a car park at the side, and a patch of vegetation that claims to be a garden. The interior is also run down and scruffy, the single bar and dining room badly reorganised to include an inconvenient servery and salad bar containing some limp vegetation. There are also gaming machines which detract from the ambiance. The indoor staff were fairly pleasant, but there was no real ale and the food really didn't appeal. This pub needs substantial investment before I shall return.
