Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Pendrell Arms
Relatively modern (maybe 1970s?) pub with quite a rustic look both inside and out, so you might think it was older if you ignore the building's shape. Compact public bar at the front, with a much larger lounge / dining area stretching back on the right-hand side. Several tables can also be found on the front patio. A Punjabi menu is offered, with a takeaway option too. Wye Valley HPA and Hancock's HB (£4.30) being poured from two of the three handpumps. Notably friendly staff.

Pub is well described in previous reviews , one of those generic pubs Bankd were throwing up with abandon in the 1980s , pretty bland interior , you could be in any 80s Banks pub .
Pretty quiet on my late afternoon visit , service was OK .
Beers usual kegs with 4 handpiulls in either bar , only 2 beers on Banks Bitter and an OK Mild .
Bog standard pub , not bad but not worth a special trip .

This is a Marston’s (Banks’s) owned cottage style pub which is of late 20th century build although the interior has been made to look much older with beams and half timber walls, there is a large gable end above the entrance and a couple of dormer windows in the roof. The interior has a hall way and two rooms, a fairly traditional public bar on the left and a more modern dining lounge on the right. The public bar has a long counter across the back of the room, a real log fire in the left hand wall with a large flat screen TV showing racing on the wall above, leather bench seats and small copper topped round tables, on the walls were Wolves FC memorabilia with other sports paintings and photos. The dining lounge has a small bar counter on the left as you enter with a nice cast iron fire place in the opposite wall, a modern tiled floor and modern tables and chairs, across the back of the room are large patio doors which open out on to a well presented garden, on the walls were a couple of abstract paintings.
Regular ales are Banks’s Bitter and Mild with no guest beers although the bar man said that until recently they did have guests but they didn’t sell very well. Had a pint of Mild which was very good.
I liked the fairly traditional public bar area but the lounge was a bit too modern and arty farty for me. They have a short menu of home cooked food which I have tried on a couple of occasions and can confirm that in my experience it is very good. I will continue to pop in if in the area.
