Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cobs Bar
Hall-like former club lacking any atmosphere, with a large bar and plenty of seating (some on a slightly raised area) and two pool tables. Basic furniture and limited decoration, with the sports TV screens being the only other things to catch the eye. No real ale, of course, with Worthington's (£2.60) and the inevitable John Smith's among the limited keg selection. Not a place to linger.

Quite large one roomed Irish bar with TV sports (racing0, pool and a live stage in the middle. Various areas with normal pub seating, a communal bar.
No real ale.

This is a 70s-style modern terraced building, converted to use as a bar at some stage. The interior is an open plan room, with a couple of pool tables and a dance floor, with a stage area, where some music equipment was set-up. There are several TVs, all showing sport and the music was general and at a decent level. The decor is one of flowery wallpaper, and some B&W film pictures are on one wall (Laurel & Hardy). The service was fine and the clientele was mix, maturer locals. Beer; no real ale, just had the usual taps and i had the M&B MILD, which was fine. Nothing for the real ale fan, but happy enough to have stopped by.
