Oggwyn Great left this review about The Steps Inn
Pub at the bottom of Gilgal that lives up to its name , fully renovated a few years ago by Ladybird Inns its a Birds Brewery house , if you want to explore the pub you need to be fit , the main entrance is up the front steps through a glass door , to the right is a dining area , to the left the narrow bar area , further round steps lead down to a small lounge area , more steps lead up to another small seated area and yet more steps lead up to the outdoor decked area on the carpark , its all fairly modern in style , lightish woods and plenty of light .
Usual keg taps and four handpulls with beers from Birds and guests from Bathams , Wye Valley and other local brewers , its pretty well kept .
Service is friendly as are the locals , its OK
