Beer House is a bar with keg next to an Upper Crust sandwich bar, much like the one at Crewe which is just as shite.

a good place to bring you down to earth after a visit to Wigan and remind you of how lame station bars usually are. truly crap choice of beer on the keg fonts and seems to make its money entirely from selling bottles to Scots changing trains. if you're desperate for a drink it's worth the 1 minute walk up to the Old Vic which is a half decent pub.
