No cask. Keg offering of Peroni, Madri, Neck Oil, Guinness, Aspall.

M&C venue on the road through the centre of Mitcham Common. There is a decent amount of patio style furniture seating out the front on a mixed paved and gravelled area. Inside the larger part to the left-hand side is the restaurant. The bar counter is straight ahead and has a ceramic tile skirt in an otherwise trademark style carpeted area. Immediately to the right-hand side and slightly ahead of the bar counter is an area with regular tables and attractive upholstered chairs. The space has a fire grate but unclear if operational. To the far-right corner, to the side of the bar counter, is another seating area with regular tables, this time served by scarlet read leather studded banquettes around the interior wall side. I like M&C as a dining destination and the bar areas at their restaurants are usually decent albeit usually with a wine selection for me rather than the mass market keg beers on offer.

The Mill house has only been a pub since 1994, prior to which it had been a private house dating from the 1860s. Unsurprisingly it’s named thus because there used to be a windmill on the site, the remains of which can still be seen behind the building.
The big plus for this pub is the large car park it owns. As it is a Harvester there really is nothing worth mentioning about the interior; it’s like every other Harvester I’ve been in. There is no real ale, just keg versions of Tetley Smooth and Old Speckled Hen. I decided that the San Miguel was the preferred option. This is a good option if you want a Harvester meal, and need to drive to get there.
