Strongers . left this review about Kings Arms
This is a Harvester and although there are no obvious signs outside indicating that it is called the Kings Arms I was informed by the barman that it still retains this name. As one would expect it is a large venue with the vast majority of space being taken up by the dining area leaving a very small bar. This bar area is separated from the diners by a doubled sided real fire which is a nice feature, but I wasn’t that keen on the toy grab machine, which is usually found in an arcade, sitting at the end of the bar.
I spotted no real ale amongst the standard draught products, but there was some San Miguel and my Guinness was sub standard. I also didn’t see any screens, not that I was expecting to, but there was some low background music of the type one would listen to whilst tucking into the meat selection from the carvery.
These pubs serve a purpose as it was very busy so they must be filling up the coffers pretty fast, but I’m not a fan and I don’t plan on returning.
