The building has stood at this corner since 1786 and has been as a town dwelling house, a stable, a girl's finishing school and now has opened as a hotel in the early 1900's. The bar gantry at the Orchard is a 30ft mahogany piece that once took centre stage at the famed Gleneagles cocktail bar. The bar has over 20 single malt whiskies. On draught there is Carling, Heverlee, Stella Artois, Peroni, Guinness, Belhaven Best & Coors Light. There are 3 widescreen TVs, showing matches on Sky Sports, BT Sport and Freeview TV. There is seating outside at the front. The lower side of the hotel has a restaurant and a small bar.
