The internal layout is as described by Quinno below, and there is a seating terrace, with tables, at the front which also serves as a receptacle for smokers’ litter. The pub is floorboarded throughout, which, when combined with the plastic and formica furniture and a large, inflatable shark hanging from the ceiling, gives it a beach-club feel challenged only by an exposed brick fireplace. It is child-friendly and there are high chairs in which to restrain the younger children. There is a large screen above the stage at the back, and there is free WiFi. The staff were very pleasant, the clientele a bit of a mixed bag ranging from obnoxious drunks to those who think beach-wear is an appropriate form of dress in a town pub. The food menu varies day-to-day, but it tends towards the formulaic. It is, however, well cooked and the pizzas are particularly good. There were 5 ciders and a perry on gravity, and London Pride was on draft. All the ciders were in good condition, although I found the Old Joe a little too sweet for my taste. Worth dropping in for a snack or a few ciders, and I’d include on a crawl.

Nouveau-rich café bar with what seemed like (admittedly I'd had a few by this point) a southern US theme over three distinct seating areas, with a stage at the rear. Two ales, both Fullers - Pride and a decent HSB. At least four boxed ciders also. Not exactly a traditional pub but worth a look, better than I expected.
